Skiing & Soup & Salad

Michael and I hit the slopes by 10 am for a blustery but fantastic day of skiing at 7 Springs. Returned home for a relaxing evening warmed by the fire of our woodstove. We dined on French onion soup made with 2 varieties of onions, chicken broth and sherry then topped with gruyere cheese and finshed off under the broiler. Our salad consisted of red and green pettite artesian lettuce, tuna, sliced potatoes, hard broiled egg, asparagus, green olives,sweet red and green peppers, and celery coated lightly with a ceasar dressing. Served with crusty pretzel bread from Breadworks and a glass of wine. Dessert was homemade chocolate covered strawberries. Delicous!
