Today, I started the day at the General Session at the Denver Convention Center. The featured speaker was Ali Vincent, the first woman to win the Biggest Loser program. She was very inspiring as well as humorous. After visiting with vendors at the food show, I ventured out on 16th street shopping, a light lunch, then took in the Pgh. Pirate//Colorado Rockies game at Coors Field. Too exhausted to venture further, I chose to have dinner at the Altitude Restuarant in the Hyatt Regency Hotel. I ordered the salmon with lemon rissoto with a salad in balsamic vinegarette. I asked my server about the grapes in the salad and learned they were quickly broiled and were a pleasant taste in the salad. The lemon rissoto was silky and topped with Parmesan Reggiano. The service was impeccable! Next, on to a fun evening at the Beach Boys concert.
