Lunch at The Sewickley Cafe
I happen to love the Village of Sewickley since my husband and I were married there over 30 years ago....and I just happened to have work scheduled in the Village and decided to treat myself to a wonderful lunch at the Sewickley Cafe. Since it was such a beautiful Spring day, I was seated in the patio garden under a tent with lovely chandeliers. Colorful glass scuptures made in Pittsburgh by Drew Hines at Vessel Studios on the Southside were displayed in the garden. A peaceful waterfall was nestled among the hostas and other spring plants. Classical music played in the background as I enjoyed my coconut shrimp salad with mixed greens, avocado, tomato, scallion, mandarin oranges, almonds with a wonderful mango ginger dressing. It couldn't have been more pleasant!
