The Perk Place Cafe

I discovered a cute little cafe in Titusville today while traveling. The tiny cafe featured lattes and cappuccinos along with soups, salads and sandwiches. I ordered the Carribean Chicken Salad of mixed greens with pineapple, dried cranberries,candied pecans and grilled chicken breast served with a warm sweet & spicy Carribean dressing and a cornbread muffin. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch and the folks I encountered in Titusville, PA. One of my favorite finds was Pine Grove Nursery located on an unpaved road outside of Titusville where I puchased 2 huge,beautiful hanging flower baskets of miniature petunias in hues of red, purple and orange. It was a pleasure speaking with Maureen, the Amish woman whose family owns the greenhouses.
