Dining Al Fresco

With such a beautiful summer season, Michael and I have enjoyed dinng outside on our back deck.  Pots of wildflowers and annuals along with mellow music add to the ambiance  Last night we made chicken that was marinated in a soy, sessame oil and ginger mixture, grilled 7 minutes per side and then sprinkled with sessame seeds.  Brown rice was cooked then fried with chopped onion, egg, carrots and pineapple. Our Oriental salad contained tomatoes, green peppers, celery, onion, broccoli sprouts and a soy vinegarette.  We finished the evening with home-made strawberry sorbet and a croquet match!
