The Nittany Lion Inn, State College, PA




Awesome! I totally enjoyed my solo dinner ...a glass of chardonnay on the patio followed by dinner in the dining room. I chose the world famous crabcake appetizer with remoulade sauce and the ....wait til you hear this!....plum & peach gazpacho soup! The gazpacho soup offerings change daily depending on the availability of the local fresh fruits and vegetables. Fresh bread accompanied the meal including a delicious kalamata olive bread. It was an incredible meal served by my pleasant server, Colin...who upon my request brought fresh flowers to my table. I hope to return tomorrow and get some of the gazbacho "to go" for my husband...he would love it!
