While reading Lidia Bastianich's book "Lidia's Family Table, I learned how to make homemade marinated tuna. I simply covered tuna stakes with water, added white vinegar, salt and a bay leaf and brought to a boil and then simmered for 15 minutes. Mixed in an extra virgin olive oil vinaigrette. It was perfect in our Salad Nicoise with red skinned potatoes, fresh green beans, sliced hard boiled eggs, anchovies and capers.
