Fogo De Chao Churrascaria, Philadelphia, PA
I had the pleasure of dining at a Brazilian restaurant in Philadelphia this week. It features continuous tableside service of fifteen signature cuts of beef, pork, lamb & chicken. They also offer a sumptuous gourmet salad bar with fresh cut vegetables, imported meats and cheeses and side dishes of polenta and mashed potatoes. Diners control their service with a small green and red sided chip. The green side signals the "Gaucho" chefs to bring out skewers of sizzling meats to the table, while the red side indicates a stopping point. My favorite was the leg of lamb followed closely by the filet mignon and the Picanha which is the prime part of the sirloin. A gluten free bread made with Yucca was served with meal and it was so soft and airy and delicious. Great food & great service!
