Milestones Restaurant, Ottawa, Canada

While visiting Michael's Aunt Deana in Ogdensburg, NY, she gave us a tour of Ottawa.  Our first stop was at the Canadian Agricultural Museum to walk among the beautiful ornamental gardens. Then we toured the  the city that has a distinctly European charm and flair. We stopped for lunch at Milestones Restaurant.  The decor was contemporary and very comfortable with great service.  I chose the California Spring Salad with fire-grilled Wild Pacific Coho Salmon with a lemon vinaigrette.  After enjoying a relaxing lunch, we walked to the ByWard Market to browse the huge variety of produce vendors and specialty shops.  We found delicious fresh peaches, gourmet pastries, and Shanklsh cheese.  We certainly enjoyed our beautifully sunny day in Ottawa!
