Helen's at 7 Springs Mountain Resort

We skied the trails at 7 Springs, hung out on the deck of the Foggy Googgle then enjoyed a relaxing lunch at Helen's.  Our bartender, Dax, suggested the Bare Chardonnay, a Washington State wine from 2009.  I chose the Chesapeake Crab Bisque that was served over country style whipped potatoes topped with a crisp potato gaufrette.  Michael chose the crabcake and raved about it as well.  Simply delicious!

The only thing I've had there that was a disappointment was the beet salad.
There was one piece of asparagus, nicely sliced, several small cubes of beets a couple crumbles of goat cheese, and one leafy pea tendril.
