Cuban Lunch

Today, friends, Sue and Lee joined us for a nice visit and lunch.  I made a sangria with Cabernet, brandy, orange juice, sugar, yellow raspberries, blueberries, strawberries and grapefruit.  The guacamole was made with pineapple and avocado to accompany my homemade plantain strips that were crisp and tasty.   I also served Cuban paninis, mini potato empanadas, yellow rice and black beans and a watermelon feta salad.  Dessert was a key lime pie. We enjoyed dining on our back deck on such a beautiful day chatting with good friends.
