Invited family and friends to celebrate Christmas Eve. We enjoyed ham, turkey, bacala, potato bar and crab dip. The highlight of the evening was the breaking of the pogaca that contained a lucky coin. The person to receive the coin is expected to have good luck in the coming year. My nephew Joel was the lucky one as everyone tossed their bread onto the floor (covered with newspaper, of course). Then we all toasted the evening with a taste of amaretto in a chocolate shot glass.
