We discovered a wonderful inn in Scottdale, PA where Chef Rick Bruckner conducts cooking classes. We participated in the Mardi Gras Creole Cooking Class recently with another couple and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. We began with a tour of the historic 1904 house that has been restored into a quaint bed and breakfast. While sipping on wine, we experienced Chef Rick creating Cajun Jambalaya, Smoked Sausage and Chicken Gumbo and my favorite the Bronzed Catfish with Gingersnap Gravy. Then we sat down and savored the delicious creole meal that Chef so kindly cooked with gluten free products except the beignets that my dinner companions enjoyed tremendously. A wonderful evening indeed!
